Post Setting Facts
-
We use Stand on Skid steers with hydraulic auger to drill the holes. These small machines have low ground pressure resulting in less damage to you grass/property and nimble enough to get in the tightest areas.
-
Posts are usually set 4ft deep to get below the Winnipeg frost line, but we can set up to 8ft (additional cost).
-
Posts are set with 3/4 down as opposed to concrete to help prevent water pooling around the base of posts leading to premature rot.
-
Posts are set true and in line. Heights set for quicker build times
-
Mud can be hauled away leaving you with a clean jobsite
-
Please ensure that the fence line is clear of obstacles before projects starts.
-
All utilities must be located before drilling can start.
-
Please ensure all private lines are located such as: Sprinkler lines, pool lines, power to a garage or shed, garden lighting, French drains/ weeping tiles, etc.
